its doing bonus damage on initial hit, and will drop heavy ammo when it has no shots left of your heavy pickup.

It always does two hits if damage the second part maybe but still not worth disabling

bonus damage as in amplified void damage, the thing its supposed to do after the debuff is applied. its doing the second part of its exotic trait that SHOULD require a second shot, on the first shot. That is a bug.

No it literally says in the perk target is subject to increased void damage on hit. It hits twice in the same trigger press if you watch the screen when you use it
