What about increased damage to Vex and a possibility of making small radiolarian pools when you get multi kills.

It's just too thick. The shotgun gets jammed, and you've gotta pump it over and over again, to get the pool to splatter out. Imagine trying to get one of those tiny little sidearms to shoot it out.
