It sounds like you have the psn still attached to the new Bungie profile. You can try: 1. Linking blizz account back to new profile (which has psn already attached). Do this by signing into Bungie.net using psn, linking blizz, signout of Bungie.net then sign back in using blizz, and unlink psn. 2. Sign back out of Bungie.net & go to sign in using psn. It should ask you to recover profile.

  • Thank you for your reply. I tried it with the steps you said, but I think I just made it worse?! Now I have a completely new PSN Bungie Profile. When it should have come to the "recover" section it asked me, if this is my profile. I clicked yes, because damn yes this is my profile?! This account linking and everything is a complete joke and I'm really annoyed that all my information is just lost and it seems that I don't have any option to really recover it. I just want my old, normal profile back, that's all I want! Is it that hard to manage that?! I'm really frustrated by this and it's a shame that this is even possible to happen!!!

  • I responded to you several days back and provided the information on account recovery and the rules for the recovery, did you fully review the information? What information do you believe you are Missing from your original profile? Destiny 1 information is no longer available on Bungie.net or in the Destiny companion app.

  • Thank you for your reply gamer jx, I think the problem is that my original psn profile seems to be over written in some way. I was able to get to the "Do you want to recover"-Question, but it just let me recover a "new" psn profile, registered on 30th of April 2018. I miss my "original" profile, registered more than 4 years ago. And this is what is really frustrating me... Eventhough it is not possible to see D1 information, I'm annoyed by the point that my profile is a "registered 2 days ago" profile... So I was searching for a way to get my old profile back. But I think I kind of over written it with all the linking/unlinking stuff. And I'm so annoyed and kind of "shocked" that this is even possible.

  • Do you have a link to your old profile? As listed in the account article to recover your old profile you needed to do it within 90 days of it being lost. The profile cannot have any other logins attached to it, so if it has an Xbox or Blizzard account attached on it you can't recover it. And you must use the account you started the profile with to recover it, so if you started it with a Xbox account or a different PlayStation account you need to use that account, but if it was removed more the 90 days before it may not work.

  • Are you sure you are using the account that started the System profile, it has to be the one you used to sign up 3 years ago. Not just linked to it, it has to be the one you used when you selected Join 3 years ago. Unfortunately if you lost that account past 90 days it will not show up. Try doing the recovery steps in this article again and see if it shows up. https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12130

  • bungie.net thinks that the new created profile is my original old one (I guess because of the authi method...) So the original one is still there, but I have no option to log in with this account. Luckily it is still somewhere, but I have no clue how to log in to that old one. When I get to recovery it still asks me if I want to recover the new created psn bungie profile. I don't know if you understand what i try to explain ^^ recovery does not work in some way with the steps provided....

  • Profiles are always viewable even if it can't be recovered, unfortunately seeing it done an you will ever be able to recover it. Are you 100% sure you don't have an Xbox or Blizzard account still attached to that old profile? Unfortunately if profile recovery doesn't work it means you likely lost access to that account prior to 90 days ago, or that isn't the account you started the account with. Bungie has no way to access or reconnect accounts.

The recovery section says that you can recover profiles through your (bungie membership) ID aswell. Is there a way for me to do that? As you know I can only click on "recovery". It doesn't ask me for an ID option... I'm sure that the old profile isn't connceted / attached to anything. The new and old profile using the same email adress (because it is the psn credentials you have to use) When I get to recovery it ask me if I want to recover the new profile (screenshot attached). So I've lost the account, right? :-( https://www2.pic-upload.de/img/35251222/profilerecovery.png

  • The membership ID is what you use to determine what account you want to recover if your list of profiles to recover was several profiles, but it's still recovered the same way you are doing it you just don't have that option because you don't have several profiles that show up. Unfortunately you likely unlinked the account longer then 90 days ago. What is your PlayStation gamertag name?

Hey Gamer jx, so, my PSN ID is DiMa_8990. I haven't done anything to any profile within the last 90 days, because I just logged in a few days ago, when I bought Destiny 2 and wanted to join a clan again. Maybe the problem was that I accidentially created a PSN account with the authi method, when I wanted to recover it etc.etc. (see first post above) ?! Im just confused that the name on the old profile misses the "_" in the name.

  • So I finally got to the recovery question. It asks me if I want to recover my PSN profile... Which was registered on 30th of April 2018. Are you kidding me?! Thank you bungie for destroying my profile through this totally messy linking system. I'm really disappointed!
