Sorry, I worded my thoughts wrong and I changed a lot in this post.
It was meant to be that Hunter subclasses became more focused on the roles they were intended to play. Arcstryder became more prominent as a close-up melee subclass, whilst Nightstalker took its old role to be a stealth subclass to go along with its luring nature. And, well, Gunslinger, that one was just improved upon from what it was in D1 (but it still doesn't feel like it's good enough).
And fyi, I'm referring to how it can be played, not how we're forced into two separate playstyles for each subclass. (I liked the options we were given with D1 subclasses, don't get me wrong, I just believe that things won't change for awhile and so I have to accept what we got.)
