Well, think about it.
The vex, not us, made a memorial for him. They probably though “Oh shit! This dude killed literally thousands of our best units! Without ammo too! And for thousands of years too!”
At this point, even the Vex respected him.

There's a lot of speculation as to what could happen if he was removed.. like the Temple of Doom.. but whatever the Vex do needs to be undone. He's there for some sort of reason. Is it because a timeline would be worse with him in it? A test of resolve? or was he merely another trap that didn't work? They don't deserve nothin.

Chances are, Saint is some sort of time traveler, and the vex are willingly letting him travel though time

There are ways to beat them is at their own time-control game. burn them out running your [b]own[/b] simulations. Confuse them. Confound them. and when they finally fight back with riddles trap them in their own mind.
