I think the taken queen is just the community’s placeholder name for the big expansion since it is hinted at being savathun and in destiny it was the taken king.

True but based on the order of locations shown during the final cutscene, a Savathun expansion won't be till next fall (2019) as the first was Mercury (CoO), second was Mars ( Fallen Warmind or whatever it ends up being), third was the reef, and fourth was Saturn (you could clearly still see the Dreadnaught). People are just calling "Taken Queen" mostly due to how big of an expansion it's expected to be.
