I don't see needing a bump to hunters. I main a hunter. What i don't like is this though...
Hunter can only max mobility
Titan and Warlock can max (or near max) any of the 3 stats.
The new update makes Titans and warlocks faster than hunters. I set up my Hunter with 10,3,3 and raced a warlock that was 4,6,8 and a Titan that was 3,9,5 .... The warlock won the race, followed by the Titan and last, the Hunter (with TEN mobility) no one was using special weapons or gear to boost speed either.
This makes mobility completely useless and hunters cannot "cross over" to increase their recovery or resilience like Titans or Warlock. This is essentially a hunter nerf. Everyone goes as fast or faster than a hunter and get higher R&R... GTFO
I put this on the help forum hoping Bungie can explain and thinking maybe it's a bug, but i don't think they'll respond.

Hunter can near max recovery (9).

I heard one person say that, but he said you need to have trials gear. I don't okay trials and never heard from anyone else. What's your setup? I have nearly every piece of gear, have all exotics have 200+ - legendary mods (total). I've played around with several setups and the best i could get was something stupid like 7,3,6 which made survivability on crucible a literal pain in my ass. I can make my W&T a minimum 7 in any stats and have a really nice balance of other stats, but the Hunter it's always "feck you". I run with totals around 18 total for my warlock and Titan. Like i said the max i can find is a 4,6,6 for the Hunter making it a 16, losing two stat points. Does your recovery setup limit mobility or resilience? Can you make stats up to 18 with it?

IO gear.

Pretty much any setup i try on hunter ends up at 16 points

Were those walking races? I ask because mobility does NOT effect sprint speed, no matter how many points you put into it. It effects only your walking speed and jump height.

This is not a true statement. Bungie said in their patch notes that speed has been increased based on mobility. I also had a mentor confirm this on my help thread and insinuated i run a speed of 10 to keep up... https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/244055336/0/0

Seriously? If you could provide video evidence that would be awesome, but I’m not expecting anything. I was/still am going to run tests myself & this is what I feared would happen - hence my OP. You say that hunters don’t need a buff & then outline exactly why they should need a buff in comparing the Titan/Lock stats & speed test. So I ask, what do you think should be done? Judging you from the “cover” that is your post, I’d say we think similarly enough to reasonably discuss

Look up fallout plays on youtube mobility doesnt affect sprint speed at all youre misinformed

I don't think they need a buff, i think they were left out of the update or are bugged. Reworking the jumps isn't needed. They just need to fix the Hunter speed. It would however be nice to allow Hunters to cross over and near max the other stats like Titans and warlocks though. I guess I'm saying I think they were left out of the update and that needs to be fixed.

Ok yeah I see what you’re saying. Totally agree with you. It would be nice if they could adjust the movement speed (ground) for hunter class accordingly - or - achieve the same effect by adjusting the mobility stat wholesale to be more potent. In this way, hunters could exclusively spec into a significant speed buff (8-10 mobility should be a very noticeable change from the average 4-5-6) - at the cost of other stats, but other classes could also spec into increased ground speed to some extent. This way, having the “stompy’s” on could really turn hunters into speedy ninjas. I don’t think hunter jump is the issue as there jump is pretty good by default, however I do think that hunter blink should return if titan skate is returning. Seems fair to me but what do I know lol.

Yeah, just remember, Bungie HATES hunters!
