Interesting...
-
We'd all still be stuck in the stone age then
-
China never got colonized and they seem to be doing just fine.
-
They only succeed because of trade. Trade was shaped by colonialism.
-
Lol you're delusional.
-
So I guess instead Islam would be the dominant force. What an interesting world that would be.
-
Kill off some 579 million people. What a hero you are.
-
That wouldn't kill anybody.
-
By undoing said action, everyone in north america would be erased. By erased means no longer alive. Which coincidentally, by killing means: to make someone stop living, i.e., no longer alive. So yes. You would. All for the sake of sanctimony. What a marvel of morals.
-
They would not be "erased." They'd just be born in their native lands instead of America.
-
They would not be "erased." They'd just be born in their native lands instead of America.
I find your lack of brain cells disturbing.

You’re trolling. Stop with the bait. Unfortunately many people can’t realise it.
-
No. They would not. I'm not certain you understand biology, or statistics, or possess common sense. But the probability of anyone being born in that new future, when none of the events which lead to the birth of their great great grandfather, let alone every other descendant of said ancestor, has occurred in the new timeline. They would be erased. Every last man woman and child gone. That is how this works. You don't just get magically born again in a different country when time is changed. But hey, again, moral grandstanding is a wonderful thing isn't it. If you don't think too hard about the consequences of course.
-
Your arrogance makes talking to you an abysmal experience. You're so convinced that you're right, that I'd rather just let you keep thinking that, than waste time trying to convince you otherwise.

Edited by Vilhelmus II: 3/22/2018 4:09:05 PMRight that you would erase everyone from existence in North America? Yes, I am. It's simple logic. You exist because your parents met at a specific place. They met because of certain circumstances. They met at a specific time. And they conceived you with all of these chances and more. To make the point clearer, you exist because in our current timeline, your parents met up and so on and so forth. The chance of that happening I'd 1 in 20,000. The chance of them staying together long enough to have kids is 1 in 2,000. Eventually these probabilities express themselves as 1 in 10^(2,685,000). Now, are you honestly going to try and argue that these events will occur, in a different country (when your ancestors may have come from completely different countries and areas), not just for the person alive today, but for their parents. And their parents parents. And their parents parents. And so on and so forth until they were supposed to arrive in North America? Do you even realize the literal impossibility of that? Ten to the power of itself 2,685,000 times is so inconceivable, and you expect it to not just occur once, but for every single person. Allow me to tell you this straightforward: it wouldn't even occur once. So yes, you'd be erasing everyone I North America from existence. Sorry if that makes you feel "unpleasant" and not want to talk with me anymore, but that is the state of your proposal. And I'm miserable to argue against? That's probably because you don't have any idea what you are talking about, whatsoever, yet continue to argue a point you clearly do not understand.
-
I was never arguing that "I," being the person I am currently, would still exist. That would be stupid. What I was saying is that all of those people would have still been born anyways, just not in America. They'd be in Europe, or Africa, or wherever they came from. And America would mostly be populated by the natives, as it should be. This isn't nearly as complicated as you're making it out to be.
-
Edited by Vilhelmus II: 3/22/2018 4:27:41 PMNo. You wouldn't exist at all. Personality, name, genetic makeup or otherwise. But that was not the point. I was using you as a stand in to demonstrate probability. Which you failed to grasp. As for and equal amount of people existing (I would like to know who the hell you are to be able to state it to be an equal trade and value, since the same people won't exist), population wise, most of them would never have been born as the areas themselves would not permit it. Again, you speak about something without even thinking about it. Perhaps your blindness all stems from your self-righteous idea of saving the oh so poor natives, and returning their land to them. Oh you moral masturbators and "virtuous" folk. So very limited.
-
You completely missed what I said. You're so stuck on labeling me as self righteous that you can't even read anymore.
-
Actually, you've missed what I've been saying this entire time. I've read some of the replies you have given to others and they're absolutely laughable. "I wouldn't exist as I do now, but I would still exist." -No. No you wouldn't. I've already explained why you wouldn't. And your last reply, oh boy. You either meant: "They would still exist, just in a different country" -In which case, no, again as I have proven they would not. Or "Well, some other people would be born that would replace them anyway" -In which case I ask who you are to decide that this is an equal trade, and why you feel you have the right to sacrifice a near total of 600 million people's lives. Again, it all boils down to you literally erasing everyone who lives in north america today, effectively killing them all off. This isn't something you can argue (though I imagine you'll somehow "try" to regardlessly). Especially since every argument you've made thus far has been "this is true, because I say it is." Not even a bit of thought put into it.
-
Lol "sacrifice?" You act as if people would just drop dead. No. It's essentially just time travel. If my ancestors were never brought to America, they would have still reproduced. I would have still eventually been born. I would just look different and speak a different language. You're hilarious.
-

"Hurr durr, I would just look-" YOU would look nothing. At all. YOU would not exist, at all. Your parents would not exist, your grandparents, would not exist. Just because someone reproduces doesn't mean it will reproduce you. You were but one sperm that somehow (by God somehow) won the race. If the circumstance were different, you would never have left your father's loins, and your father, his father's. You would never have achieved consciousness, and you would cease to exist entirely. This is what I mean by "you know nothing about the subject." You possess absolutely zero understanding of reality, and absolutely no logical faculties. Don't waste my time further, with your literal mumbo-jumbo horseshit.
-
I already said that I personally wouldn't exist. This is what I meant by you don't understand.
-
Yes you did. But then you contradicted yourself. Again. And again. And probably again after that. And if you agree that you personally wouldn't exist, that means you were erased. Which also means everyone else is erased as well. Which means your actions led to the deaths of hundreds of millions.
But let me guess, you would still exist somehow, through more tortured and flawed logic.
-
Lol you don't understand how time travel works. I know you don't, because you keep referring to people never being born as "deaths." 😂😂😂
