There was no better feeling as a kid than walking in an arcade with a pocket full of quarters. The best was going to the roller rink/arcade combo.

Even the band Journey had its own arcade video game. It wasn't very good but it had one.

I can still instantly recognize the sounds of a Pac-Man machine. Donkey Kong too.

I remember when they moved one of the pinball machines out and replaced it with Space Invaders in the front of the local Wal-Mart. The next one was either Asteroids or Pole Position. Old guys unite...

No worries, I also played a version of space invades in the arcades when I was even younger. It was called Galga. We have the perspective on what little video games provided back then, but we had so much fun with little complaint. Now with how technology has advanced, games provide some much more that our minds back then couldn't even comprehend. For example, I not sure if you played the original Doom back in the 90's, but I remember my mind was blown when I first played it. Now imagine if you could time travel and show you younger self how the 2016 Doom looks like.
