This is why I hate the gaming community sometimes.
Either a game is absolutely amazing or it is complete trash/garbage. Destiny 2 isn't great, but neither is it trash.

As a standalone game, it's not trash. It could actually be considered an ok game. As a sequel to another ok game hated by 90% of the people who it at launch, it's garbage due to bring too similar to it's predecessor before it got good.

You're correct. Destiny 2 is a game that's very acceptable in its own right, kind of like a dinner of meatloaf, tater tots, boiled carrots, and canned fruit cocktail, washed down with a tall glass of Hawaiian Punch. Problem is, Destiny 1 was flame-broiled steak (seasoned to perfection), crab fettucini alfredo, baked Alaska, and imported wine.

I'm not waldo, I'm frank now and in my opinion the 'game' destiny 2 is literally the only piece of this whole franchise that IS actual garbage. If they made a game for the crowd they were advertising to, it would probably be pretty effing sweet, but I do believe that is the type of content that they learned is too "hard" for them to maintain, let alone create.

Yeah, there was a time coming here brought me joy , now .....it's just a naive hope that maybe things will get better, both for the forum and destiny. I remember a time where we were excited about destiny, speculating about what would come next, thinking up things we would love to see implemented into the game, believing that slowly but surely this franchise would one day live up to the vision that the Bungie vidoc pathways out of darkness laid out before us ages ago, and now ... the only thing Bungie and the community seem to agree on is going back to destiny 1 in some form.
