So Destiny 2 has been nominated for a BAFTA...but not for the Best Game, Multiplayer, Evolving Game, Game Design, Game Innovation, Narrative or even Art categories like you might expect for an MMO 1st person shooter and especially for what Bungie promised us with the sequel to Destiny. The BAFTA nomination is for Audio Achievement. Re-read that... Audio Achievement. Firstly, congratulations to the Audio department as they've done an amazing job! Secondly, WTAF Bungie?! This clearly shows that the industry knows that Destiny 2 is a rundown, boring shell of a game that was supposed to be a sequel that built on the original, yet has fewer features than the original, and important core mechanics like weapon slots, gear grinding, end game...etc... are just so lacklustre that the industry professionals don't think it's up to scratch. From what we had in Year 3 of D1 to now is just pitiful. Rant over.
D1 has 3 years worth of content & updates crammed into it. D2 is pretty bad right now but so is your reasoning.

 • D2 has more than 3 years of experience behind it. It doesnt show it, but there should have been something to learn from Y1D1

 • The difference is that Bungie had three years to learn from developing D1 so they could make a proper, satisfying sequel. ... and yet here we are.
