All they gotta do is keep it how it is. Then add shotguns, snipers, and fushions to energy. Balance by ammo count. Make them have no ammo in PvP for all i care. Just put them in the energy slot.

Making them energy type entirely and not allowing them in primary slot? I agree but that would be the “issue”.

I would be fine with it in primary slot too but PvP crowd would cry. So they would have to balance accordingly or just not allow them to be used in PvP. Kinda like doing prestige activities how it locks your class. You enter the crucible and it will lock certain weapons from being used.

I agree, unfortunately you are right the PvP crowd might not like it. I’m a PvE main myself so I wouldn’t mind it either really.
