He was a great mind and contribution to our world for certain. Although The Theory or Everything and just general word of mouth says that he is quite and asshole.

Why and where does it say he was an asshole? I don’t remember that bit...

Umm the part where he leaves his wife who had been caring for him for years for his new caretaker... also many who have met him in person say he was a bit of a condescending prick. I'm just bringing it up. Not trying to lessen his accomplishments. In many ways he was a great man and I'm sure that disability can make one a little more irritable and his status can make him jaded as most would be.

Plus what kinda pushed that matter forward was that he started spending more time with the nurse/caretaker than his wife as she became too busy and so due to this and propinquity, he slowly fell out of love with his wife and in love with the caretaker. As smart as he was, it’s not like he could control how he feels and who he feels for. Sometimes it just happens... From the wife’s perspective at the time yeah it was a dick move but she can see reason when looking back at it. And I’ve never met the guy but I can figure he’s had to deal with a lot of stupid questions over the years and to add insult to injury, his vocal computer was American while he was English and people didn’t know he wasn’t American... (the tone the computer spoke in probably didn’t always help situations either...)
sry, long post is long
