when did they put it on? didn't you need a subscription to watch discovery online? i have netflix but i forget what subscription you needed for discovery. they should have put discovery on one of the regular tv channels and not require a subscription.

As far as I know, Star Trek is only on Netflix in countries outside of the US region.

Why would it not be on US Netflix? Isn't it a series made in the US? Seems weird.

Thats because it premiered on (was made for) CBS All Access so I guess they just want people to sub to that to watch it.

Yup. Every network wants some of that digital streaming service pie. I still haven't subscribed to All Access and I don't plan to, not even for Star Trek, which I have always been a huge fan of. I'll just see it in some other capacity later.
