1 day rush on forum restrictions vs. 6+ months for crucible quitter penalties, exotic duplicate protection & emote wheel
dissenting opinion on D2 was so strong that bungie had to rush forum restrictions and alienate a good portion of its non-d2 playerbase within a single day (february 6).
meanwhile, it will take 5+ months to implement crucible quitter penalties from the time the problem was identified in october versus the march 27 release date according to the most recent roadmap.
1 single day to segregate the community versus more than 5 months for crucible quitter penalties. also in this boat is the emote wheel and exotic duplicate protection, planned for implementation more than half a year later in may.
