Neither is playing a poorly implemented PvP system.
-
If you think killing helpless AI enemies that can’t defend themselves, nor give me a challenge while getting crappy tokens for lackluster loot, then I’m sorry for you. I get thrills from playing crucible. After a few hours I might do the raid. I see PvE as a side activity in this game.
-
To each their own. I happen to enjoy mowing down useless AI. If you think PvP is the driving force behind D2 you're delusional. It's a looter-shooter. If you don't like the grind then it ain't for you.
-
I don’t see how you think there’s a grind; there really isn’t unless you’re talking about the power level cap
-
I was referring to collecting armor sets which is something I have been doing for about 1-2 hours after work (if that). Only sets I don't have at present are the EoW sets and Trials. I can't be bothered with the Trials one, what with paid carries and awful penalty mechanics when the other team leaves.
-
The way this game is going, it looks like PvP is the driving force. It can’t be a good looter-shooter if the loot I’m looting is shit. If anything, Bungie should go back and continue D1.
-
PvP in this game is as boring as shooting AI enemies
-
At least a mob of noobs can put up a better fight than a mob of predictable red/yellow bar enemies. At least people in the crucible can adapt and prepare for my assaults. At least crucible can drop masterworks weapons at a better rate than in a strike. AI enemies don’t even try to get to cover; they literally run right into your line of sight, especially in the campaign.
-
Did t say PVE was better just said PVP was as boring as it. D1 PVP was way more fun even in Y3 when the game was in decline
-
My fault. I misunderstood you. D1 PvP wrecks D2 PvP

Big facts
It can’t be a good looter-shooter if the loot I’m looting is shit.
That's something we both can agree on. I believe I have been luckier than most in that I roll what I want almost 99% of the time. Can't overlook the whole token + two blues thing though. Its a shame too because some of those rares are more visually appealing than that of the legendary gear you get. They could really use an alchemy feature where you inherit the stats from one armor with the visuals of another.

yes it is
-
That’s sad😂.

i think you'll find some people love it, hence why many games have horde modes
