It's the best mmo I've ever played. Think I've got a bit over 200 hours played and I just finished the main quest, haven't even gotten to either of the expansions. Max level is 70, but you can level every class with one character.
There's plenty of crafting and gathering classes, so if you just don't feel like killing anything or questing you can just chill and fish or make some awesome weapons and armor, cut some trees.
I play a tank, think I'm about level 52. All my crafting classes are around level 30, gathering classes are almost 50. Haven't made it to endgame so I can't give advice on that, but there is so much to do it's crazy. You get bored tanking? Level a healer or a dps. You get experience bonuses when you level a new class up until your highest level class.
Enjoy the free trial, think you can level everything to 35 before they start making you pay a subscription. I only paid $30 for the game and both expansions. $12 a month is awesome for a game with tons of content. I highly recommend it.

Thanks for your review. I chose Archer for now. I would like to make some kind of magic user too, so its nice that you can change your class with the same character. I haven't had much time with it yet and I'm not sure what to think about the subscription based game. I never got into that kind of gaming, especially since you have to actually buy the game too. Once I get into, I'll make that call I guess. Looks overwhelming AF though. I'm gonna need to put my patience hat on...lol

It seems overwhelming at first but a lot of the story is just a giant tutorial. Make sure you read every little "help" thing that comes up, it makes the game much easier to understand. The game definitely eases you into it at a steady pace. I see nothing wrong with paying a subscription, they are always updating the game, just came out with a huge one that added a ton of things including increased inventory space. You can find the game for $30 that includes everything including a free month. If you like the free trial I would definitely recommend getting it. You should definitely know by the time you're at 35. I was working on crafting and gathering so it took me like 2 months to get to 35. Lol
