If Bungie did follow through with the idea that the Grimoire is all fairy tales, this would be a likely origin for the traveler and explain a lot. I liked it, personally.

I mean, the idea, for me, wasn't to make the Grimiore so much a fairy tale but more like what happens to stories after potential centuries have gone by after some cataclysmic event and the truth behind the events gets lost to time. Again, just in case anyone sees this reply and thinks I'm attempting to rewrite what is game based lore, I'm not. Just having some fun and all. There's so much possibility with where the series can go, I think.

Thanks for the appreciation. And you're correct that this would totally upend the Grimiore. Had Bungie strictly stuck with the Grimiore through Destiny 2, I probably wouldn't have posted this. But, this is my little conspiracy.
