I never understood the reasoning behind causing increased damage to low health enemies. They are low on health therefore easier to kill. Why do I need extra damage to finish then off? Ugly waste of an exotic.

  • Spaceme do you even read bro? As the marked target goes below 30% health YOUR DAMAGE DEALT OUT TO THE WORLD GOES UP EQUIVALENTLY. Re read that as many times as you need to....

  • Against a boss like Taniks or Atraks-1, this really shines above all else. Plus this actually helped me a lot in my first Glory match with Coldheart and my Seventh Seraph Carbine.

  • The obvious situations: You've been going at [ENTER RAID] for the past two hours, you always leave the boss at that tiny sliver of health before your team gets wiped. You put this on, suddenly you push through with just a bit more damage than you had last time.

  • In pvp it means instead of trading kills, you now survive with very low health.

  • I would assume the idea is to ensure a kill rather than letting them escape. In PvP letting a weakened enemy escape means they'll return shortly with full health.
