I did 999999 damage on Emperor Calus (with a single shot)
I managed to do this with a Celestial Nighthawk Golden Gun and the new Raid Armor mods. 20% bonus damage from the Gauntlets, another 25% from the Class Item. I think Empowered Rift also amplifies Golden Gun damage. It was a critical hit, and we had 104 stacks of the Force of Will buff.
It took out a big chunk out of Emperor Calus's health bar (about 1/6), it was hilarious to look at.
I really like some of the new Raid Armor mods, I wish they would work outside the Raid. The helmet perk is kind of lackluster though.
Have you tried them yet? Your opinions?

If you run bottom tree celestial nighthawk on the shattered throne, when you get to the final boss, if you damage all three knights and shoot the boss you can also do 999,999 damage

Your damage is actually more than that. 999999 is max on screen. Since the mods - every celestial should be achieving this.

I can imagine that being doable on a future Raid encounter, but more scripted and even more badass - Shaxx prolly cried somewhat.

Crypto too op, plz nerf. That's a crazy amount of damage to put on the boss with one shot. Further proof of why the Celestial Nighthawk is my favorite exotic for my Hunter.

4 RepliesI know it seems ridiculously op. But this is exactly what we want right? Power fantasy. Taking big chunks off a boss. Making supers and exotics worthwhile. Dont get me wrong, i love a raid to be a challenge. But im more optimistic to seeing more of these kind of fun changes. Hell, i might even fire a raid up this weekend for the first time in months. Only downside i can see is, lfg in a few weeks will be legit "must have 100% mods equipped. I mean, im seeing guys looking for 30+ completions just to join now. It wont affect me as i will just pug my own group, but i feel for some.

I don't always test my code. But when I do... I do it in production. Sounds like we are finally testing the new changes... EoW down last night first round. Like the raid needed to be any easier....

Was very satisfying to see so i can imagine your excitement on calus xD
