While I agree with your attempt at bringing peace here. I think there are just too many people who want to see bungie burn at this point. 4 years of being lied is hard to take.

It's all Deductive Fallacy and mud slinging. Are there emotional people unhappy with the state of things? Yes but people need to outlet those emotions better and come up with actual factual statements and arguments and not throw what they [u]feel[/u] is happening (their opinion) around as facts. Also, wishing for Bungie to fail is childish. People should be wanting them to fix what's broken. Not close their doors and people lose jobs.

Their arrogance is outstanding to say the least. Losing it all is the only lesson they need to learn. You can't tell me D3 will not follow the same way as this sequel has? The gaming industry has turned to shit. Consumers need to let these companies know they will not be pushed around anymore.

How so Logan? In the real world you screw up you get replaced. Bungie screwed D2 up, so they should get replaced. Is it because I don't blindly defend bungie? The gaming industry needs a shake up mate, back to the days when you got a finished game for your money.

Games are too expensive to create and maintain for the "old" business model. They are always going to look to extend he game and make a profit. Those days are long gone.

I know that definition but you also have to include malicious intent. There was none of that here. Sobieski they left info out but only because [u]someone[/u] felt it wasn't important for us to know from a gameplay standpoint. Again it look like the people who were behind that choice no longer make them.

No but purposely implementing things (xp throttling) and then say "oh my, we didn't know that was happening" is a blatant lie. So yes they lied.

I don't agree. A lie means they [u]knowingly[/u] gave us false information. Usually maliciously. What they did was simply not tell us why they implemented it in the first place and how it was going to be set even after they [u]fixed[/u] it. It was not meant to be [u]false[/u] information or done maliciously. They were simply bad at both execution and communication. It's clear they want to improve on both. One of Bungie's biggest internal problems of all time is their internal play test QA. They have [u]never[/u] tested the game as players would play it. They never expected people to reach a cap or dog into the numbers like some have done. Yes it's their fault because they thought we'd be ignorant of it there's no lies. At least the way I see it. Even we do disagree why is there a need to label me? Why can't I just be "the guy who disagrees"? Heh, even that's a label.
