Your video shows you buying the engram with your Warlock. Fated engrams will only ever give armor for the class that buys it, so if you want hunter armor, you have to buy it with your hunter.

Just for reference, where does it specify this? (Yes i'm sure it's a noob question).

It doesn't, but that's how exotic engrams work in destiny 2 in general. Just like no exotic engram will decrypt into armor for any other class than the class that decrypted it, neither will the fated engrams.
