I'll never understand why someone would post an opinion piece, and then proceed to mute anyone that disagrees with them.
Why bother posting in the first place?

To be clear, it is not the person who wrote the opinion piece doing the muting. It is someone who has read it and doesn't like it and then leaves a nastygram to let the original poster know they have been muted.
