Yeah that grenade sucks against experienced people, only way I know how to use and deal the correct damage is throw tbe grenade behind them so they don't know where it is in time.
It's irritating though because this existed in D1 since the beginning.

you can also crouch and it will just hover above your head until it self detonates..

Nah its an exploit. I'm not going tp lie I do it too to negate the damage. In trials everybody I throw it at does it.
