Well if you follow the books of sorrow from the Taken King, you'll recall that Oryx was actually able to resurrect both Savathun and their other sister from permanent death due to enacting acts that reflected the powers that their worms gifted them. That being said, one could assume that Savathun could replicate a similar situation using us as her catalyst.

  • No he killed them in his throneworld, they were “true deaths” in the sense that they followed the Sword Logic of his world. That’s why they went to their own worlds and had to be brought back, just like Crota. He remarks later in the BoS that he may kill them in their own worlds as they grow in power and could threaten his rule. That would be permadeath, just like when we killed him in the KF raid. So Oryx can’t come back. Panatopes probably can, a Restorative mind or like Osiris remaking a root mind. Vex and Hive are way to different for comparison

  • I'm saying that's the difference between Pinoptes and Oryx. The Vex will see it as a failure, knock it up as one and create something better.
