Sorry but xp is cosmetic for the most part. The levels come too fast that level specific gear requirements are a joke, and the 10%buff will only be noticed by people constantly restarting characters. For the vast majority of players the only thing xp buffs do is get eververse engrams faster, which btw is cosmetic.

  • Not the point, anything that is offering perks that actively change the experience positively that is purchasable for real money, is not cosmetic only.

But that is the point bonus xp is useless. It is cosmetic, wow you can buy something that lets you get 10% faster chance at a random cosmetic roll. Every game I have played with a store, this would be considered cosmetic since it has no effect on playing the game.

  • Why was this not an issue for you with the xp booster, that buy from eververse for 50 dust? Same thing. You are complaining about something that gives 10% xp, where there is something that gives greater xp, for almost nothing? Is it because one is rng and the other is a purchase? ...if it is, that hardly seems a major point, cause ...destiny. the whole game is rng.

  • for example on how to fix it - D1 eververse, the gear had no perks and awful stats, but looked great. Do that again. Put the exotic shells, ships and sparrows into the loot pools for powerful engrams and nightfall rewards. Boom, added in some actual endgame, something to add a grind back in. For emotes, keep them how they were in D1 too, just a flat out silver cost to buy the one you want, no gambling, no chance. Just spend the money on the exact one you want. That would be 100x better than what we have currently.

  • I don't want trash equipment...anywhere in the game lol. I do think, that if 100+ items were added into the dlc, I wouldn't mind the 50 some in eververse

  • I do have a slight issue with that, but getting the dust is much easier, almost anything from the engrams give it. I don't actually want eververse completely removed. I want it sorted so that it isn't the primary focus of the game (which it is when half of the new content is locked behind it) I am against bungo intentionally making it more difficult to earn bright engrams in game for the sole purpose of getting people to spend more money on loot boxes, I have a lot of issues within destiny 2, this one is just the last straw for me. How they resolve it will decide if I ever purchase anything the Dev team make again now. I have followed bungie since halo 2, put 8000 hours into halo reach over two accounts. I loved the games they made on the 360, but they are no longer that team, they just want to milk us for every penny we have. Reselling us content we have already paid for, adding back in content we have had since D1 in an expansion and making out like we're buying a new experience. Eververse is the final straw now.
