Day 16 of the eververse uprising
It shows no signs of slowing down, the memes are hot and spicy. We are finally witnessing a community united and it’s all thanks to Bungie (activision). Not the feedback they were hoping for. LOL.

I don’t think the eververse should be removed as it adds an incentive for Bungie and the live team to continue providing content in the long term but it is in its current form excessive and designed to work against the player.
100+ items added in CoO (around half the items added) and 2 weeks later another 50+ all behind rng is too much.
Bungie should add the ability to purchase any item individually from eververse as this would incentivize players to grind (or spend) for items they want. This would also incentivize Bungie to create quality content for the eververse as they know people will play and/or pay for it.
As of now I think there are much bigger issues with destiny than the eververse.
Some of the following was in d1 and didn’t make it into d2 (because reasons) and is needed to make this game better for the long term. (IMO)
Private matches
Crucible ranking system
Strike scoring
Strike specific loot
More varied modifiers
Hard mode raid gear that is more than just a shader effect apart from normal mode
Time gated quests and story missions
Everyone on the forums raging for or against the #remove eververse gives a damn about the game and all that we need now is for Bungie to stop offering empty platitudes and vague promises and action meaningful change.

15 Replies@anyone who says "it's just cosmetics" Cosmetic items in an mmo-type game matter a geat deal. If the game for you boils down to only its mechanical side, then why do you think we have graphic quality appreciation, art styles and soundtracks? The answer to that is - because graphichs, whether you like it or not, matter a great deal. Cosmetics and customisation options are a part of that, and a big one at that. By your logic you yourself should be playing a black and white pong right now, because everything else is just cosmetic isnit?

NOT ONCE have I had to go to Tess to start either the raid or raid lair. Claimed my rewards at the raid and the tokens somewhere else too. NOT ONCE have I had to go to Tess to begin a nightfall. NOT ONCE have I had to go to Tess to decrypt that exotic engram I have. NOT ONCE have I had to go to Tess to claim a powerful engram. NOT ONCE have I ever had to pay for a damn thing she has. And I HAVE PLENTY OF WHAT SHE HAS TO OFFER. Want to know how? She GIVES IT FOR FREE WHEN YOU LEVEL UP. She then sells it for dust that you get from all the shit she gives you that you don’t want... This stupid hating Tess bandwagon isn’t changing shit. And here is my question. HOW THE HELL DOES SOMEONE SPENDING MONEY ON TESS AFFECT ANYONE BUT THEM??? Let people spend their money how they choose...

I had posted my thoughts about the Eververse in my own topic/thread. But immediately on posting it wasn't anywhere near the front page. So I will recap here. The Eververse does not NEED to be removed. Having a unique armor set and shader set for the Eververse is perfectly acceptable. What's NOT Acceptable, is that over 50% of the items in the game are in the Eververse. If, and this is a REALLY BIG IF. If Bungie took 95% of the items in the Eververse and placed them as: Strike Specific Loot Lost Sector Loot Cayde-6 Cashes Loot (Specific to a planet) And other similar things, that made it possible to grind for all of it. Leaving Unique Eververse Armor, Shaders, Ghost Shells (Unique Shells specifically designed to go with the "Eververse Armor", not all ghost shells), and even possibly some Sparrows with designs featured around the Eververse. Keep Emotes a part of the Eververse. As that is a way for the players to possibly pay you for something. And while the Holiday Packages were kinda always a part of the Eververse. There was a means to adequately farm then too. Like the Halloween Event, we got candy to fill a bag. Once full we got a loot box. The ones from the Eververse typically had a better chance at higher grade loot, but not unheard of. By doing this they, BUNGIE, will have spread out much of the loot currently behind a pay wall and made things farmable once more. _-------------------------_ But we don't have the VAULT Space to collect all that loot! Well, that's simple too. Collection Tabs! That's right! Since all Weapons have a static roll, there's no reason to not have a Collection Tab for EVERYTHING in the game. From White Engram's and up! Furthermore, they could have the Collections Tab update with the Highest Power Level of an item, with the Highest Power Level FOUND. Not UPGRADED, but FOUND. This way people will be tempted to grind out not just a weapon, but the highest possible Power Level version of that item. Both of these suggestions will improve End Game Grinding, move loot to farmable areas, and improve Vault Space. Allowing people to delete items, but still have access to those same items.
