I have always shied away from imports (Euro or Asian), but I've been growing warmer toward BMW and Audi. Porsche, Ferrari, Jaguar have always had a special place just because of what they are, but I honestly have no love for the 911's VWish looks. Audi still has some butt ugly deigns though, but their drive-trains can't be overlooked. The only Japanese car I would ever consider would be Lexus. I just simply do not like the others.

Honda did kinda take Ferrari to school one time with the first gen NSX. We can talk or not talk about F1 engines but that first gen NSX was hot fire.

  • I liked the original NSX, but I wouldn't go as far as to say it was overly powerful. For a quad valve V6, yeah, it was good, but it still had less than stellar 0-60 times. I know this is a bad comparison, but my quad valved '13 Focus 4 banger has a better 0-60 time. That's the only stat it will ever beat the old NSX in, but still.

Ferrari F40, McLaren F1, or a 1st gen NSX? For the sake of conversation the NSX could be after the refresh in the late 90s if that would make a difference to you.
