If you don't like it, don't play. Nothing in the dawning engram pool will effect game play.
If you're the kind of person who needs to have these items, well you are the reason events like this happen. So quit bitching and buy some silver, cause you know you will.

The problem is that Bungie, instead of fixing the game, is using Eververse to jack off in front of the playerbase Eververse has been milked so hard that it is actually considered an alternative to the actual endgame. This is the problem. Instead of trying to fix the game, they’re pushing Eververse and playing stupid.

There is nothing end game about cosmetic items, ships, or sparrows. It is being blown out of proportion. This is nothing like EA and battlefront 2. The loot boxes are completely optional. The only problem is that people feel they need everything yet it doesn't matter what color you are, what ship you see in the loading screen, what your emote is, or what sparrow you have. None of these thing will help you complete activities.

That’s the problem-cosmetics are pushed as an endgame when they’re not. Outside of Eververse, there’s no endgame. Filthy casual

And that’s why I don’t. If you think there is a reason to do the raid or trials more than once (something I fell for) than you need to take a step back and think about why you’re doing it. Same with farming bright engrams.

Raid, raid layer, trials, nightfalls, milestones. My advice is this if you aren't enjoying end game for destiny 2. 1. Find a decent active clan, with a good mix of player types. Even if you don't need to do something, you can have a good time playing with your clan to help others. 2. Go play something else.

And I do. Just trying to spread awareness of Bungies corporate greed and poor decisions. People like you make it hard. Stuff I play-Overwatch, Fortnite, Cuphead, Skyrim, Horizon Zero Dawn, Assassins creed origins, Etc Also, D1 endgame had decent rewards and difficult activities. D2 has trials where cheap teamshotting wins, two raids that are easy when you have no experience, and nightfall’s where the only thing close to difficulty is a timer that can be added to, that can be ignored for the most part (unless someone is trying to get Rat King

Bungie is only implementing a business model that has proven to generate capital with minimal effort (mobile games). Anyone with a brain would do the same in their position. Regardless of our opinions, this model will almost always be successful and people will continue to buy crates. The unfortunate truth is this is where the gaming industry is headed. I have never purchased silver in destiny or destiny 2, nor will I. I have never purchased loot crates in other game I've played. I feel that if others are compelled to do so that is there choice, but I choose to only spend my money on games not cosmetic items in games. Despite that I don't buy these crates, I understand why other do. I just don't value those things the same as them. Maybe you should stop caring what other people are doing.
