If bungie would stop trying to balance pvp with pve gear or just remove pvp completely the game could be extremely better, but they only care about pvp and could care less about the reason most people play destiny, pve.

Ridding PvE would inevitably reduce the fanbase. Bungie is stupid, but not that stupid.

Their obsessive focus on "balance and fairness" in PvP is inane. PvE needs to be meaningful and fun again. I'm shooting the same enemy archetypes from over 3 years ago but with weaker weapons now. Yay!
