I do care about all that, and attempted to make my voice heard last year. Instead, the dipshit crowd was louder than just me, so now: - the Healthcare system will begin it's death spiral and become so bloated and overpriced no one will be able to afford anything...basically picking up where it left off in 2006. - Net Neutrality is gone, so in the coming weeks/months we will start to see once accessible content move behind paywalls. It will be D2 with CoO, but at a much more massive scale. - the Repubs got their tax bill, which they call a win, but no one in the middle or the poor will notice. "You will get on average $1,600 back in 2018!" - Great. But don't worry as infrastructure takes a nosedive, and you are paying the $1,600 right back and then some as prices go up healthcare, education, once considered utilities (i.e. THE INTERNET), and just basic crap like fixing your car because you busted an axel due to a complete lack of road maintenance (since all that is being cut to make room for this tax plan!). I don't mind people shitting on themselves with these decisions - they want everything harder for them so people like Trump can have better lives, fine. The problem is I am roped in with these assclowns going out of their way to make my life even worse as well. I literally had to explain to my 60 year old uncle that Net Neutrality was not about giving the internet away for free because that is what Limbaugh basically told him for months. And even after he understood how the internet was more akin to how your electricity is paid for instead of a standard commodity, he STILL said it should go because "Obama". There is really no getting through to some people, bud.

I live in california. It is a Democrat super majority state. They control everything. House Senate governorship many towns and cities. All Democrat. Pray tell why isn't California who has the power to enact anything they want not a utopian paradise? Why are the roads shit? Why do they steal from infrastructure to pay for other programs then raise the gas tax again to pay back what they stole and specifically write in a provision that they won't steal this money...
