Flinch from the side is not impossible to compensate for lol. Much of flinch is artificial. The reticle moves very little which is why even in D1 with the flinch increase on snipers, you could still get headshot by any decent sniper while unloading on his face.

No, it is not "artificial". When you get him from the side, your reticule clearly moves over and off. Compensating for horizontal flinch, while still trying to manage the recoil, and track a mobile target is next to impossible.

It barely moves. The majority of the erratic movement is the scope around the reticle. You're just bad at the game and want something to blame your awful aim and shit KD on lol. Try not sucking at Destiny and the flinch won't be an issue for your shit ass.
