I know what it is and it's kinda cool yes. However I wouldn't Pat Bungie on the back for making an Easter egg that's not even in the game. Plus it's only "pretty cool tech" by caveman standards.

It's not Stephen Hawking's chair. But, for mass producable technology, I would hardly call it caveman standard.

Final Fantasy 11 (yes 11) had something like this once before. Bought a device that tied into real game events and the such. Didn't last long because it was new technology and was always desynced with the world.
