Jade Rabbit isn't designed for PVP.
You're using it wrong.
In a PVE boss fight.... It's quite nice.
Body shot X4, headshot, and you'll never have to reload. It's all damage all the time. Just keep shooting.

Primary weapon for DPS at a boss fight? I think you're playing Destiny wrong.

Nope, used it a lot for PvP for D1. Gun was fine, unlike the D2 version

D1 Totems and warpriest, it was quicker changing to the rabbit than reloading your sniper. Then you didn't have to reload. It wrecked hive. I played a 1v1 on D1 with it a few nights ago, and it was 3 shots to a kill. Old mate was an Xbox player before D2 and had never come up against it before. He couldnt understand why he was having so much trouble outshooting me. I loved it in D1, I Cant use it in D2. The changes ruined it.
