It prevents u from getting exotics, it doesnt give them to u. They put this shit in to give the appearance that there fixing things. Go buy 5 bucks worth of silver from eververse and then pop a 3oc and go into the crucible, i bet u get an exotic your first match.

I ran 8 hours today. 1st 4 hour block used one 3oC second 4 hour used 2 3oC. During those 8 hours i ran countless heroic strikes and events, 5 nightfalls, a few heroic adventures and around 2 hours of crucible. I got 2 exotics total and my buddy got one. It's not exclusive to crucible. I love both PvP and pve. You get more legendaries in pvp, but no change on exotics.
