  • They definitely should, maybe make a strike were you discover a vex birthing place and assault it.

  • Yes that would be so good. Give some good gameplay and some interesting lore

  • The Book of Sorrows isn't about the Vex, and we don't have any concrete material on the origins of the Vex, so, what are you expecting?

  • <I wanted a Books of Sorrow thing for the Vex, though. It would've given us concrete details on the origins. Literally every species we know the origin and backstory of... except the Vex and our two primary Paracausal forces.>

  • The Vex haven't tried to attack the City yet. It's a scapegoat, sure, but all other races have been an immediate threat. The Dark Future was a simulation that didn't even begin to happen, Osiris wanted to launch a preemptive strike, so it's not a real offensive on their part.

  • Vex are a liquid race...

  • <But what about their chassis? Are they actually robotic? Is it just hardened Radiolarian Fluid (as Asher's arm suggests)? WHAT?! HOW?! HOW DID THEY ORIGINATE!? I expected Books of Sorrow level detail at most on how the Vex came to be. Now I just know slightly more than I did before.>

  • It really is sad that the lore wasn't more flushed out for the vex in this DLC. I feel as though they pushed this DLC out to fast and had to deal with time constraint. Or maybe they just didn't care to much and said "screw it!" and decide to sell the DLC as it is. I'm taking A 1000 yard shot in the dark with a 1700s musket, but I think the third DLC will be a Taken King sized Vex expansion were they will expand more on the Vex and lore. Because this DLC was way to small to explain the VEX, the most mysterious specie since Destiny 1. As for the Vex, it's possible that their bodies are made from radiolarian fluid since they are small organic life forms that can manipulate time and space. So it doesn't seem so far fetched that their chassis are radiolarian fluid. It's most likely not true but it's possible that the vex are just a corrupted byproduct of the Traveler's terraforming. Kind of like how in halo the flood was a byproduct of the precursors.

  • <I think its possible that, with the arrival of Savathun, we'll get to know how Savathun knew of the Vex. Since she has a Taken Vex assistant, Quria, it will teach us all we need to know about the Vex.>

  • Yeah, because Quria was given to Savathun by Oryx after Quria was defeated. Its possible that through Savathun studying Quria she was able to learn about the Vex and how they work and move as one being. Maybe even learn to manipulate Vex technology.

  • <It would be interesting to see the Witch Queen comment on the Vex.>
