Imagine being in their shoes, and the next thing you see is a massive company like EA, bend over like a bitch to their community, simply due to the uproar of their unfair treatment of Battlefront 2. Do you truly believe they'd still go "Lets build that pay wall! HUR!" I'm reading this, and I just... don't see it. I mean, I can see why people would think otherwise, and I'm not telling them not to. In this day and age, stupidity is ripe and by gods the companies of an older generation seem very eager to pluck that fruit and spray it into our eyes. But with no information as to why the job posting was removed from public view, or what the position details in exampled form, this is a great deal of unwanted paranoia. Keep in mind that regardless of what you guys say here, right or wrong, it means nothing. If you guys are right, it will specifically be the uproar of those angry about the situation that potentially resolves the issue. Not the many people that want to scream "I told you so!". If you guys are wrong, and it's all about cosmetic improvement, from what I'm understanding with that job post, you'll just make yourself out to be an arse with this loud of a voice. Give it a rest, please. For everyone's sake.

I know. Those Ghosts that are now being sold, that are more than just cosmetic because they have an actual and tangible affect on the game... those aren't P2W!!!! But when the Eververse launched, even Ghosts that did this shit weren't "thinkable" and "bungie would never do that!" The next step is that Bungie "feels it out" with a weak weapon or two. If the internet doesn't burn down, then real P2W weapons follow. Only the most dedicated of fanboi's can deny this now.
