Exotics?? You in there?
I’ve played for over an hour and half public events. Nothing. No exotics. Is there an easier way?? Did all the mile stones. Is mercury better?? I die inside everytime I open a chest and I get one single EDZ coin...

Be patient, you’ll get all the Exotics . And Xur will help you. We used to grind exotic engrams for infusion fuel. We needed dozens and dozens of them. Now, Exotics aren’t very feasible as fuel. Good or Bad, D2 has spared you the main grind for those golden engrams.

Honestly, I'm OK with it. Once upon a time it was a big deal to get an exotic drop.

They nerfed exotics drop rate. Now you have to spend 10+ hours to gen one if you are lucky. And it will be a duplicate or DARCI

I've run 167 public events, and have only gotten 2 exotic engrams to drop.

15 RepliesApparently public events don't drop exotics anymore. I haven't gotten one either. Only one I got was from a heroic strike.

I’m not sure if I have enough time left to grind for exotic weapons anymore. They have made the drop rate so bad I have filled every milestone except the raid on all three characters and not one drop I am about to put this game away. Have fun all good luck.

Got 4 exotic engrams from public events today across all three characters. You just gotta keep grinding them. I recommend bouncing around the EDZ. Pretty much one after another.

It’s called a NERF, Bungie is implementing new 3 of Coin so they nerf the drop rate of exotics to get you to spend legendary shards on those. That wasn’t in the patch notes was it????? John Wyzniewski should have been removed long ago.

Ive gotten a couple from PE, I've noticed a better drop rate from heroic strikes personally.

I’ve gotten one, they are just really rare now. I was farming for prophecy materials and after 35 or so public events I got one.

On the same boat but I did get [b]one.[/b] I also noticed that they changed the description on the fire team medallions. Maybe because 3oC will be back next Friday?

I've received 3 from PE so far, 2 on Mercury and one in the EDZ. You are just having a bad luck streak.
