So what I think is going to happen is that during the timey wimey shananagains we meet Ana Bray. I think that because the next DLC seems to be at least in part related to the Bray family and the last time did anything timey wimey (the quest for the NTtE) we found her bracelet. There was also that journal we found in the “secret” room. And if we really are going to have an “adventure through space and time” then for at least this DLC death will be meaningless.

The infinite Forrest is a simulation, not direct time travel. More like entering a 4-dimensional space where they have programmed reality in specific ways. Ana has been to Io, and has affected a warmind significantly. Additionally either she, or someone who has her journal, was in the Daito room. This game is strange, and inconsistent at times. If the lore-writers simply missed her second death as I easily skipped over it as well, she could be around.
