If at all possible, get off wifi. Destiny requires a stable connection & wifi can become very unstable.

I would go wired but my computer is too far from the modem.

If you continue to play on WiFi, you will continue to have issues ... sorry Guardian, definitely sounds like your WiFi is very unstable.

Ok. Then you may want to look into powerline adapters. Wifi can definitely be problematic.
