Day one, my xbox has me clocked at 233 days played on d1. It was already the bare minimum that i deemed acceptable for this game, i just wanted more depth, i never once asked for a nerf, and wasnt happy with any of them, i always played crucible for fun and took the rough with the smooth, if you cant beat em join em. This whole game feels like a nerf, weapons, armor, stats, class abilities, supers, subclasses, the raid, crucible, light level, iron banana, exotics. They all feel like poor versions of d1. It was when i was doing an adventure that i realised i just couldnt play this, they had me shooting some barrell under a tank, that didnt even blow up, with weapons and armor that i made no decisions about and a subclass that i had no choice in, and i thought, you know what i'm more intelligent than this terrible gameplay. I completed every raid on d1 day of release, normal and hard, i was usually at the forefront of the team, trying to figure out tactics to complete these fights we'd never attempted before, it was all too much to think is this it? This is destiny? I dont feel like a legend anymore. But oh well, sixteen years with bungie, it was a good run whilst it lasted. Thanks for the memories guys!
