Sadly nothing can be done. Bungie does not restore lost/deleted items. Even ones bought with real money. You can sound off in feedback in the hopes they add kiosks again so anything of worth from the boxes will be there. But for now you are out of luck.
The post box is not a storage area, after 20 items the rest will get deleted. In future keep note of what you're doing and make room for stuff.

Edited by SuperSeattle: 11/30/2017 9:48:50 AMI just don't understand, regardless of the "policy" why Bungie would want to, or how it is possible for them to sell loot boxes (an already controversial activity) and then deny a fan the rewards because of inventory issues. Inventory issues that are known, and inventory issue that mostly stems from mods. Every bright engram also drops blue mods, it's almost the system is trying to fill the mailbox. For the record, I was not using the postmaster as a vault, it was empty when I started decrypting. It just filled with mods, then leaving no room for any other overflow, like the exotic ship, dances, and numerous other duplicate sparrows I saw pop up that I never received. This is a tough one to swallow.
