Battlefront 2 is actually good, the neutered score is purely out of reaction to the micro controversy.
Andromeda as a concept was awesome the graphical errors destroyed its rep much in the same way the micro controversy affected battlefront
Also EA’s sports titles are a travesty, they are well executed with few bugs but they’re just the same thing over and over with different slider and tuner settings and updated rosters (which honestly could be done with an update). Occasionally a new engine gets put in but that’s rare. Players of EA sports titles are also a massive part of the micro income for EA that led them to believing they should put micros in Star Wars. Ultimate Team is one of the worst offenders for micro transactions.

Madden, FIFA, NHL. All of them have people paying obscene money to get a shot at the best players. It’s insanity, I can’t understand why or how these people play it every single release for the entire year.

An alternate response to fighting the reapers. Just like in every country, some want to fight to defend the homeland some would rather just escape and try again. They did a good job of creating a story that followed the logical steps such an undertaking would have required. The real problem was the graphical bugs and glitches and that people were expecting Ryder to be Commander Shepard and were unwilling to accept a different type of hero/heroine.
