#Me Too
Hi Guys, so a few months ago this was a thing. Everyone on my facebook seemed to come out with their stories. Yet I felt genuinly unable to do the same.
I didn't want to tell my story. The thought made me feel sick. I genuinly still feel ill because I felt like I was betraying the movement and it's point.
So here we have my #me too. . . Semi anonomously and you know.. . Pretty -blam!-ing late as always.
Sorry to bother you. Please.. .I don't really want attention or anything along that lines. Just have a nice day?

1 ReplyThanks for sharing. It seems it’s a much bigger problem than many people realised. Hopefully this #metoo movement helps change the culture of acceptance and silence surrounding this from now on. Though it’s not very encouraging when the president of the USA can admit to sexual assault on tape and still get elected.

I have friends from high school that I still talk to who have used #MeToo and I didn't know what it was until I was told by one of my other friends who was brave enough to put the person that assaulted her on full blast on Facebook put her story out (tagged him too). [spoiler]The guy she put on full blast is someone I grew up with and he was the jackass/douche edgelord kid in high school that did his best to offend others because he thought it was fun. So, I knew that if my friend said something about it, I can trust her word, since I know the guy that she was talking about was quite open with what he wanted to do to girls, and it's something I'm sure a good number of people in here would probably be sickened hearing.[/spoiler] My other friends who have dealt with the same thing (Thankfully, it's only about 8 of them instead of 20+. It's still bad though) didn't really provide any context, but you don't need to tell your story if it's a painful memory you don't want to relive. Just know that there are people who have your back.

I'm proud of you since you managed the courage to tell us, even if anonymously. You are strong and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Take care of yourself and stay safe. The only people who would have shared their stores were the ones who were brave enough to do so, even though the whole point was for people who weren’t brave enough. It was doomed from the start, you really shouldn’t feel bad.
