This is just another example of how lootboxes destroy everything they touch. I mean bungie's lootbox system may be cosmetic only, but it's slimy as f*ck and I can't believe nobody saw it the second you had to take your bright engrams to the cash shop instead of the cryptarch. Gotta get people to the cash shop before they can spend their money, right? Well I say spend their money, what I actually mean is spend part of their money because in age old scammer fashion the amount of currency you can buy always leaves you with change left over to entice you to buy even more silver. I hope regulators worldwide have their way with your dirty little nickel and dime cash cow, I hope they tax the living s*it out of you and make you slap an adults only rating on everything that even approximates a lootbox. I hope the suits at Activision Blizzard and other companies like them are afraid right now, because the VAST majority of gamers are done with their lies, sick of their glorified gambling and are absolutely done with otherwise good games being irreparably tainted by corporate greed, and right now they're out for AAA industry blood.
