Didn't say it made me a good person. I said I was nice. In reality I'm a horrible person. Doesn't mean I can't be nice.

Wishing you donated to charity instead of buying a video game doesn't make you nice either.

You're right. Sarcasm makes for poor examples. But as someone who's actively involved with veteran suicide organizations, and regularly sets up events to raise money and awareness, I think I can say I have a shred of niceness in my body even though I bought a video game.
