I'm the biggest Starcraft fan you'll ever know and I'll be down for this.
If a game like this were to happen, I want it to be focused around the UED like the Brood War Terran campaign. The UED fleet that went to the Koprulu Sector was destroyed by Kerrigan but that wasn't their full fleet and strength. Since DuGalle had kids, playing as an elite guard for DuGalle's son wanting to avenge his father by going back to finish the UED's mission would be cool.
If that's not the case, then having a FPS game where we get to play as Nova would be even better. She deserves her own game after what Blizzard did to Starcraft: Ghost. They can have so much fun coming up with abilities to use, level designs, and enemy types.
The sad thing is since Starcraft's popularity has tanked in recent years and with Blizzard pushing more focus into Warcraft and Overwatch, this game will never happen.

How do you know? Blizzard has come out of Left field before with interesting games. Much like Hero’s of the Storm or perhaps Starcraft Remastered, we didn’t see them coming

[/quote] I love Blizzard, they're my favorite developer out there, but the only new IP they've made in the last 20 years was Overwatch. They completely forgot about the IPs that made all of this possible, Starcraft and Diablo. SC: Brood War made Blizzard a household name in the gaming industry and Diablo 2 furthered that. World of Warcraft sent them to through the roof and they haven't looked back. They don't care about Starcraft or Diablo anymore because both aren't making the money that WoW and Overwatch make. Last time I read, Hearthstone was making $20 million a month for Blizzard. Don't expect a Diablo 4 or Starcraft 3 anytime soon. They're not gonna happen.
