Bungie. It Needs To be Literally Impossible For Me To Max Out My Faction Rank For Both Rallies And STILL Not Get The Full Set
I got to rank 30 on all 3 characters last faction rally and I only got the full set one one character. This time, I ranked up my hunter to rank 30 again.. And I'm still missing the cloak. Why is it possible that I get over 20 chest pieces and ZERO cloaks?
Absolutely ridiculous. I will not continue to play this game if there is not a system to prevent duplication in some way. Create an exponential algorithm so that the more and more dupes I get, the less and less chance I have of getting a duplicate.
If you cant already tell I'm extremely upset. As a collector it is extremely aggravating to miss out on something, especially when its arguably the best looking cloak in the game.

I never got the new monarchy helmet for my titan during the first even. Actually now that I think about it I've never gotten a full set of gear

Every vendor should have a progression system that rewards armor, guns, ghost shells, sparrows, ships, banners, shaders, and auras at certain pre determined intervals or levels. Your progression and ability to collect the whole set would be entirely based on your commitment, not some piss poor random number generator.

I realize it's RNG, but not getting something to come up out of 60 attempts is an outlier. I still need the Dead Orbit mark for my Titan. Cashed in about 20 so far this time and no luck so far. Iron Banner was really bad too. Only wanted the armor and out of about 20 packages got arms (twice) and everything else was weapons, no other armor.

Meanwhile i keep deleting the faction armors because they are reskins. I held X for 3 seconds for 20+ dead orbit cloaks .

9 RepliesReally??????? Do you know how dumb that sounds? So you think you should get everything in a recurring event on a week? Its a once a month event that will change gear when the next dlc comes out. By the exact same logic you should get a full set of raid armor and weapons every time time you complete the raid. If you dont have the gear you want by the time the next dlc comes out then you can complain.

I agree with this. I understand RNG and all that, but the smart loot system needs to come back. It is utter ridiculous that you can't get a full gear set within the engram limit.

Edited by Lethal: 11/8/2017 7:45:00 PMit should be tiers we unlock, 5 packages you get tier one and can purchase 1 weapon and 1 armor piece, then 10 packages is tier 2 and so on and so forth, by tier 5 you should be able to purchase all the pieces with legendary shards. This whole RNG reward token system is absolute garbage. Destiny employee pay checks should be RNG to. you could get paid anywhere from $1 - your max 2 weekly pay every 2 weeks.
