Can't remember if I saw it on here or Reddit but someone pointed out that this may be bugged in the fact that the additional time gathered through the NF may not be read by the quest for some reason or another.
They had the same problem; two people on the quest, completing it with around 6 minutes to spare, no reward.

I was so happy at the end, then I go to my inventory to see it still was not complete. Ridiculous bug, what is the point of the whole added time them -_-

I think it may just be this week. I've only done the quest once and that was on like week one. So maybe it's something to bring up in the Help section of the forums. Maybe it's a different bug altogether.
