Yes I have. I've tried it 2 different ways with the experiences being similar but very different. Smoked = intense short experience. Literally minutes.
brewed (ayahuasca) = very long experience.
To me, smoking although it's like...a strong BAM isn't really a full experience. You need MAOI's to gain the full lasting experience. Which is included when brewed right. I'd say opt for the brew if you can. Many smoke dmt incorrectly their first time too. Leading them to believe it's weak and does nothing. I've read you don't need an MAOI when you smoke it, but the oral method is just many times a better experience. So you want to make sure it's done right so you really gain the experience and aren't zapped back in minutes like "wtf just happened?"
If you're curious about dmt, and have read up on what it's said to be rumored to be... it's definitely worth trying. Kinda...life changing. Perception wise.
I read about it some years back hearing it's the "spirit molecule", that it's released just before we die and when we sleep every night. Fascinating stuff man. To me, it isn't "just a trip". That's an entirely different conversation that I normally don't get into much though. I'm very non religious but very spiritual. So naturally, people like that all come across the same sets of things.
Lucid dreams
Out of body experiences
Remote viewing
Binaural beats
Psychedelics, which is where most find out about dmt.
And of course, the huge controversial subjects like extraterrestrials, interdimensional beings, ufos, paranormal shit, magik, etc etc. There's a lot of bizarre stuff out there. I've noticed one interest leads to the next for like minds. Which....aren't so common I suppose. If you're fascinated by any of that, then dmt is right up your alley.
